Born in Shenyang in 1982, Langlang is a New York-based classical pianist who has played concerts across the world and is the first Chinese pianist to be engaged by the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic and all the top American Orchestras. In 2009, Time magazine listed him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2011 he was invited to perform at the White House for a state dinner with Hu Jinitao. Lang has devoted himself so much in inspiring children and young musicians to take interests in classical music.
